Both their families come from Greece so they immediately pictured their wedding in one of the beautiful Cycladic islands. They finally picked Mykonos for its scenic landscapes and crystal turquoise waters. The ceremony was held at a whitewashed chapel on the edge of a cliff overlooking the turquoise Aegean sea on a sizzling September day.
Male guests were offered white Panama hats and female guests wooden fans embellished by the bride to keep cool. The couple embraced many Greek traditions, one of which was that the bride walked on a pathway from the entrance of the town to the chapel accompanied by her 10 gorgeous bridesmaids, her father and brother and followed by two traditional Greek musicians.
After the ceremony the wedding party of 10 gorgeous bridesmaids and groomsmen along with the couple, stayed behind for a romantic photoshoot during sunset with the Mykonos white windmills as their backdrop. Later they joined their guests for a family-style Greek dinner. Everyone held sparklers as they danced their first dance, and then released sky lanterns on the beach.
