Our Indian-born Australian bride and british, the groom, who is from the U.K. met in London when the bride decided to take a 2-year working placement there.
They quickly became best friends. Having spent more and more time together, they realized we were great for each other. As the bride's visa and time in London was coming to an end, the groom asked her to stay and organized a getaway to Florence, Italy to celebrate. Over a romantic walk in town, the groom presented the bride with a small scrapbook he had curated of memorable dates from their relationship followed by a ring asking her to marry him. She immediately said yes!
Once of the things they love doing together is explore new places. In one of their trips to Greece they fell in love with the history, culture and scenic view and they decided to hold their wedding there.
After considering many destinations they chose the Athenian Riviera to host their celebrations as it combined beautiful sea view over the Aegean, ease of access for their guests and lush surroundings.
They welcomed guests for a sunset cocktail event on a beautiful modern terrace in the heart of the historic city center of Athens, overlooking the beautifully lit Acropolis rock and the Parthenon.
On the day of the wedding guests arrived at a completely different setting, a beautiful garden venue with an incredible view of the sea. The short ceremony was followed by cocktails where guests enjoyed the tunes of a solo guitarist and vocalist. Dinner was held under the romantic twinkling fairy lights as the sun went down.
Since the couple kept their guest list short, they wanted their décor to transform the venue in a setting resembling a beautiful spring garden while focusing on the sea views. Therefore, the venue was transformed using neutral tones, organic flowers in white and green, wooden and brass elements and vintage accents.
The celebrations were concluded with lots of dancing of their couple/s nearest and dearest friends and family.
