Patrizia and Florian first met in High School and quickly became good friends. 

The more time they spent together, the closer friends they became. After graduating high school they realised there was more to their relationship and they hesitantly decided to give their relationship a try. Within the following years, they grew closer as a couple despite spending times apart while studying abroad. One of their favourite things to do together, even during the years they were living apart, was to vacation in the bride's small cottage in the picturesque island of Paros.

2 years before their wedding and while they were on vacation in Paros Florian proposed on the Olive Garden of the cottage. He decorated the trees with countless fairy lights and once the bride said yes, they instantly decided that Paros was the location they wanted to officially celebrate their wedding too.
