A Destination Wedding in Serifos Island
Nick and Mark were always in love with the Greek islands and over the years have traveled together to Mykonos several times.
The first time they visited Greece, they fell in love with the white washed towns, blue seas, enchanting sunsets, beautiful but simple fresh food, eating out under the stars surrounded by bougainvillias, candles and fairy lights.
They wanted to explore more Greek island destinations amongst which was Serifos island in the Cyclades. A year before their wedding they planned a short trip to Serifos to explore the island and see if it captured their hearts. After 2 short days, they decided this was the location they were meant to exchange vows.
A year later, their celebrations commenced with a sunset welcome coktail party at the main square of the charming Serifos town, with the sounds of traditional Greek music getting all guests excited about a truly authentic Greek experience.
On the wedding day the grooms walked down the aisle holding hands on a stunning beach ceremony which was followed by a mellow cocktail hour during the most breathtaking sunset. Their candlelit dinner was also held on the beach, under glittering fairy lights, exactly as the couple had originally envisioned. A memorable party followed with several of their closest friends preparing sketches, songs and other unforgettable surprises for the newlyweds!
The celebrations continued the next day with a fun pool party, lots of dancing, eating and drinking until the evening.
