Greek Destination Planners Association Annual Assembly
We recently took part in the Greek Destination Planners Association Annual Assembly at the beautiful Margi Farm in Athens and wanted to share some of the magic that we experienced as a proud founding member.
The Greek Destination Planners Association (GDPA) was founded in 2020 with a mission of elevating and unifying Greek wedding and event planners through promoting Greece as a prime wedding & event destination, modelling exemplary standards in the creation of prestigious and upscale social and corporate events, demonstrating commitment to ethical practices in business, fostering relationships within the local wedding industry and developing better business practices.
Our members are advocates of the role and impact event service professionals have on the success of events, the promotion of Greek tourism and the uplifting of our fellow industry members. Anyone booking a GDPA member can be reassured that they collaborate with a vendor not only of high professional standards, but of great ethos too.
Every year GDPA members gather united in progress and collaboration at the GDPA Annual Assembly. This year’s assembly was a powerful gathering of Greece’s leading wedding professionals, where we shared insights, tackled challenges, and created lasting memories. Our focus remains strong on promoting Greece as a premier event destination, showcasing its beauty and culture to the world.
