They met on a plane from Tel Aviv to Athens. What proved to be a very lucky plane delay, was what brought them together.
Their mutual love for dogs , fine dining, wine pairing and passion for outdoor actives is what they love doing together. This beautiful couple also love running, cycling, kitesurfing, windsurfing and the latter is the reason they chose Paros for their wedding, since the island is a surfer’s paradise.
For their wedding ceremony and reception we wanted to find a location that was representative of all the summers the couple had spent in Paros doing what they loved. As they wanted their guests to experience this specific side of the island.
In terms of aesthetics, Siobhan and Vasilis wanted a formal style wedding with modern touches in their wedding décor. Therefore we chose a grey color palette as our base. We added florals that were less structured and more organic, to balance out the dry surroundings of the Cycladic island during the summer and bring a bit of liveliness to feel of the event. We added modern touches in the furniture, tableware and stationary. We generally chose clean lines through the décor to create a sharp style which matched the couple’s vision.
Throughout the planning process, Siobhan and Vasilis made sure everything in their wedding was representative of their personalities, the history of their relationship, mutual experiences, and locations they both loved.
That is why they even thought of having their wedding portraits take place is an uninhabited island off the coast of Paros, which is home to only one tiny white chapel, and surrounded by water, a truly special place for this intimate moment.
It was an honor to work with them and experience their relationship through planning this special day for them.
